Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

How are things going @Former-Member have you been able to get a little bit more done?

An old quilt and bedspread donated to the neighbours dogs yesterday, knitting patterns gone and used some old papers to light the fire. Slowly, slowly here but will get there.

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Well done @Former-Member ...... ๐Ÿ’œ

Slowly, slowly is all I am capable of these days .....

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Hi @soul, @Faith-and-Hope, @Former-Member

Thanks for asking after me, means soooo much. I've done no decluttering since Thursday but pleased to say I have kept house tidy. Wish I had someone to share bit with.

But Mostly resting now - havent felt well. Worked Thursday arvo and yesterday and was invited to a late lunch which was lovely (even just to have company, but a bit of an expense I can't afford too often). Ate too much and crashed after, oops. Felt like fainting on & off, andvmuscles hurt. even at work too (wad aweful), definitely overdid it so just been kind with myself.

I have a long way to go with the decluttering - but have some direction now. Learning fast to "THINK LESS DO MORE"

Well done Darcy getting rid of blanky & some papers. Every little bit helps.

Turns out my retail boss use to be a legal secretary - so knows about house sales & conveyancing etc andvi foundvout more. General consensus seems to be that i have to have a solicitor, even just to sell.

Tomorrow I keep focusing on stacking and packing the Outgoing room and clearing the veranda to start selling stuff before the garage sale.

Hope your week picks up Soul. And you too Faith-and-hope. Hugzz๐Ÿ’•

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Glad you had a bit of a break @Former-Member. You have worked so hard. Tomorrow is a new day and you can begin again. Hope your garage sale is a success. Thanks again for your concern. It meant a lot to me.

@soul, nice to know I still have something to offer the world, in the moment, from the heart - make a little difference. Thanks for saying โ˜บ Glad to give back a little - you've been so good to me. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’•

@soul
Did you attack your wardrobe?

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

Something to be said for not stopping - its so hard to pick up momentum again.
Today I've managed to have a light breakfastโœ” pillsโœ” dress(sort of)โœ” brush hairโฌœ load of washing onโœ” feed/water birds โฌœ walk the blockโฌœ write card to mumdadโœ” sisโœ” sonโœ” check in hereโœ” Hope to do some gardening todayโฌœ Normal stuff really. Declutter maybe tomorrow. Trying to decide if this fatigue & sore muscles & joint pain (even after resting) needs a visit to Dr? And today I have some sort of tummy upset. Probably something I ate. Started getting back into the Omega3's this week so see if that will help.

Good thing is my MH is stable:
- the mind is still
- blackdog's not barking suicide
- the neg committee has backed off
- at peace with God, and ppl
- birds still alive (so worried I might forget their water or leave cage door open or the back door & cat gets them)

My baby bro is hinting I should come visit mum (slowly getting worse) but then he says "no rush" He sees my parents more than anyone else, helps more too - every day, but with his complex MI (Sz) & drug use and mums Anxiety BPD & dafs dementia, honestly don't know how they really are. Must visit soon but ideally see them through these last days. I don't know. Too hard basket. Perhaps I'm too needy myself for anyone to appreciate what I can offer (why are family the worst at that?). My son doesn't want a visit yet, said there's not much I can do to help really - he's amazed what he can do with one arm. Did I tell you his dad broke his arm the day after he told him about his? Also, S1 has an old school mate that was born with no arm from the elbow down, and another friend who'se forearm was amputated at work and reattached. Do bit of competition there (less sympathy), but he knows himself well and all is relative (shaking my head)

There's roadworks humming away nearby, hate that ๐Ÿ˜ž but its just beautiful outside. Might start in the garden today ๐Ÿ™‚ Bless you all ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿฆโ˜•๐ŸŽต
Thanks for listening โ˜บ
