Wiw, yesterday was flat out.  I had online classes all day, and we had to come up with new ideas, take photos around the house, and I still had D2 to see to who is not used to sharing my time now that the uni break is over.  D3 bunked in with us for the day too, because she is back up and into studies and needing to share the studio space.

I flumped in the evening, and kept working on a cardi I am making for grandbaby.

Missing you @Zoe7 .  I am hoping you made it through the school week in one piece and have flumped into the weekend too to recover.  Hugs n hugs Hon.  I am sure you would be exhausted and still missing Cat so much ..... but we are still walking along with you whether you are here or not.

my D1 and partner are back home from Darwin , they drove all the way home , they have been away for 4 years , drove 2 cars back , had to get a new radiator during the trip

Hello F&A family,

I really need some insight please and don't want it on the thread about me. I tend to spread myself so @Faith-and-Hope I hope it's ok I spread to here please? 🙏

May I have your input on how you choose a  pdoc...my boy doesn't want any part in doing research and so it's up to me.

I believe that I should be seeking one affiliated with a clinic. His hx is such that he's had double digit admissions over the past two years. Perhaps because the pdocs he's had are affiliated????

Bf believes I should choose one that isn't affiliated as he believes they have their own agenda $$$ to admit their patients to their clinic????

To date he has had fortnightly appointments at a cost of four hundred. It's just increased to five. I'd pay it without question if I felt he cared but his duty of care is questionable around other issues that have come to light. 

I'm lost and all I want is what's best for my boy. 

He hasn't seen his tdoc for weeks due to hospital admission and then a planned holiday that was cancelled. He starts back with her early August. This has had a huge impact on his decline plus lockdown. I feel that the meds are on track but therapy is what's needed asap. I hold hope that when he starts therapy again things will improve.

I guess what I really need please is any thoughts around choosing a pdoc, thank you all 💕

It does sound like you care a lot for your boy @Anastasia 

He is lucky to have you.

I really don't know how to get a good pdoc. I was referred to mine by my gp and was just lucky to get a good one. I guess all you can do is try one and see if it is a good fit. Sometimes it is just luck of the draw.
