HI
you are not alone, I too have a lot of baggage to unpack and learn.
I feel like i have always had an inner volcano, and have been placing stones over it since childhood, until it recently erupted. I've always reinvented myself and pushed on, but it caught up with me last month.
I now feel i have to start from scratch, and it hurts.:)

Hello @KC11 and @Justhere it's great to have you both here!
I do hope that this can be a safe space for both of you to connect and share more of your stories when you feel ready.
@Justhere I did just want to let you know that we did make a slight edit to your post to remove a medication name, due to our community guidelines around this. Nothing to worry about, it's very easy to miss these when you first sign up

HI,
Sorry didnt mean to offend the group, my post was referencing Song titles by Evanescence, a medication song relates to the loss of self and how the numbness enters and will it end, as to the Song Haunted from past events.

hey @Justhere i've only heard one Evanescence song, but even that one song had so much feeling in it. i love that music can be so powerful in making us feel seen and less alone, that's how i felt with some of SZA's songs. thank you for sharing 💙

Hello everyone,
Thank you for welcoming me to the group. I've recently had aortic valve replacement surgery. I joined this forum for support and hopefully to connect with anyone who has gone through the same experience I have.

Hey @rav3
Ive always loved her music, but the lyrics now mean so much more. Letting go, talking to yourself and the numbness inside.
Jelly roll has just released a beautiful song, "i'm not ok, but i'm going to be alright"
