Yeah, @ArraDreaming , Watermelon. The kids LOVE watermelon, so I got them one yesterday.

I've just had a slice of watermelon after dinner just now, @ArraDreaming. I got half a watermelon at the food hub at the uni the other day. Delicious!

we just discovered our dog would save me by jumping on my face and throwing her ball at me if i died so that was some Friday night entertainment

These days supermarkets source fruit and veg from all over the world @ArraDreaming, which isn't good because it leaves a huge carbon footprint... but that's what they do now. The good thing is that any fresh produce they don't sell they donate to places like Oz Harvest and Food Hub, which then distribute that food for free to people and families on a restricted income. I go to the food hub three times a week, and this afternoon I got yoghurt and garlic bread as well as pumpkin, cauliflower, bananas...and milk.
