Something’s not right

I can’t cope

Re: I can’t cope

Thanks so much @tyme

Thank you for being you. You have helped me so much tonight. You literally talked me off the edge tonight. I’m about to go to bed and I’m in a much better place than earlier.

Thank you

Talk over the weekend.

Sleep well

Re: I can’t cope

It was bad @Jynx but just chatting helped.

Im going to bed.

Have a good night and talk soon. I’m off all weekend so I’ll be around

Re: I can’t cope

Speak soon @Captain24 ! Take care!

Re: I can’t cope

So today has been a good day so far.

I got up and did a load of washing and hung it out. Usually I can’t be bothered and leave it in the machine until I remember it.

I’ve clean the kitchen and ensuite and vacuumed and sweep the floors. I should wash them but I might do it later.

I feel as though I have been productive. That’s the most I have done at once in a while.

Im thinking of mowing my lawn after lunch but I’ll see. It’s suppose to rain for the next few days so I really should do it.

Im feeling ok. That’s a big win.

Re: I can’t cope

Ok.. so it’s gone.. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong but I tried really hard. It was so good while it lasted

Re: I can’t cope

Remember it's more about looking at increasing the time spent in the good mental space, and relishing that time, than it is about finding 'what went wrong' - you didn't do anything wrong hun, that sounds like a great day!! @Captain24 a big win indeed 😊

Re: I can’t cope

It was a great day @Jynx. I felt accomplished. I did enjoy it while it lasted. But I need to focus on that it happened. Maybe mornings are going to be my thing. 🤷

My mood has slipped a lot. My psych said that this is the time to revisit my safety plan. Try and lessen the power of the mood.

So I have tried. Lego is part of my plan so I did some of the one that has been sitting here for weeks. It had 2615 pieces so it’s been fiddly.

But I finished it!

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 oh WOW fiddly seems like an understatement!! That's so cool!! Do you get lost in Lego Flow? Teehee!

If I do, I have to make sure I have an ergonomic setup cos one time I REALLY did a number on my knees - putting my tallneck together 😅

Hope you already got your next set ready to go? You know I have an unopened box of lego succulents floating around my abode 🫣

Re: I can’t cope

I use to get lost in it but now it feels like a chore. Just something to tick off my SP list. @Jynx. I did get another one out. I have about 30 here to build. Some are really little ones and others are bigger than the last one.

I sit at the kitchen bench on a stool so too long hurts my back. But I’ve got nowhere else to put it. I use to use the coffee table but a little black someone likes to take the pieces.

You might find it in your decluttering! A reward for doing it.

Just had dinner and it was horrible. I’ve given the dogs a bone each so they are leaving me alone.

Feeling pretty rough at the moment. I’m watching tv but it’s not keeping me engaged at all.

How’s life treating you?

Re: I can’t cope

@Captain24 I mean... you could look for some same-same but different things to lego to add in as well? That way you get a bit more variety and it hopefully won't feel like so much of a chore!!

Got any other crafty hobbies or anything? I literally got inspired today to try my hand at making chain mail! Buuuut we will see if that holds or if it is just another 'ADHD half-finished project money trap' 🤣

Wild to me if the tv isn't engaging you don't just pop something else on? I might be too used to streaming services lol

Got its ups n downs, but I am chugging along as per!
