Re: The Community Garden :)
Hi @Shaz51
It’s so lovely to hear from you - a big hello to you too 💜
That’s a beautiful plant! I especially love the pink veins running through the leaves 💜
I just wondered is this something that you grow in your garden?
Take care,
ShiningStar 💜

Re: The Community Garden :)
@Oaktree @Shaz51 @ArraDreaming @Appleblossom @Krishna and other gardeners
This weekend I planted broad bean and heartsease (viola) seedlings and Iceland poppy and linaria seeds. Still have celery seedlings to put in. The sage oregano rosemary lavender and daisies I planted a few weeks ago have settled in. The herbs and herbaceous perennials I potted on from tubes are ready to go in soon. The garden is looking up.

Re: The Community Garden :)
Hi @Dimity you’ve been busy in your garden which is always a good thing. We’ve just had a cold windy snap of weather and my broadbeans need staking so will tend to them tomorrow. Brocolli is growing quickly and picking spinach and kale already. My turmeric is starting to die off and my usual routine of harvesting and drying then grinding to powder will be happening soon. I love my garden. It gives me purpose and great satisfaction 🙏❤️

Re: The Community Garden :)
Sounds good @Krishna . It's a bit too cold here for turmeric but I can sometimes find fresh tubers at a local greengrocer. I'm only just coming back to gardening after a long hiatus and enjoying it... it's very grounding!

Re: The Community Garden :)
Hi @Oaktree
It’s so lovely to hear from you 💜
Absolutely! It’s such a pretty plant and I especially love the pink tinges on its leaves 😊
Unfortunately, I’m not too knowledgeable about plants, but I think that it would be great if it could grow in different areas so that as many people as possible could enjoy it 😊
Take care,
ShiningStar 💜
