I agree with @bipolarbunny .... try to keep busy @Oaktree @and keep your mind off it.  You will probably find that your brain processes it anyway and your thoughts and feelings about it will stabilise a bit more, but keeping busy helps to keep you from constantly ruminating about it.  That's how it works for me anyway, so I hope it is a supportive suggestion for you.

Well if Jelly Cat got used to you @Shaz51 Then she might let you give her a Big Hug....

So far, she is only used to me - So she will only let me touch her.

Jelly treats all (Rare) Visitors as Dangerous, & To Be Avoided.

So she immediately Disappears, & Hides under the Bed....
