Good morning @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Shaz51 @Adge @Eve7 and others passing by...
Last day before I have to go back to work and I am so not ready. I have not caught up with anything I needed to do and still feeling so tired and worn out. I don't want to have to leave Tobes and Clover and miss my little girl so much. It is going to be very hard to get up for work tomorrow as sleep has been all over the place as well. Just feeling flat and anxious about tomorrow so going to try to fix the spot near my door and a few other things around the house today to keep busy and out of my head ...then see if I can actually start the school work later today.
I hope you all have some light in your day

Must be hard hon @Zoe7 knowing you have to go back to work and not being ready.
You have been through so much the last few weeks and are still trying to deal with everything.
Hopefully you can get some work done but if not, then so be it. Your health is more important then some school work.
Take care of you today sweetie ๐๐

Good morning guys. Thanks for the tags the last few days. This past 3 or 4 days I have been in a bit of a funk and haven't even really been on the forums. Hoping to get back some motivation soon.

Hi @Shaz51 @Zoe7 @Snowie @Oaktree @Faith-and-Hope @Eve7 @Emelia8 @Anastasia @Adge and anyone else passing through. Don't think I've been on this thread before so thanks for the tag.
@Zoe7 can certainly understand your anxiety hon about going back to work. Just do what you can do, keep practicing self care to help you get through today. And then whatever happens tomorrow happens. I'm sure you'll be able to cope with what ever comes your way. You are so strong! xx
@Oaktree sorry to hear you are in such a funk sweetie, but you gotta look after you, so if that means taking time out from the forums to recharge then do it. We will all still be here for you when you feel up to coming back xx
@Anastasia how are you feeling hon? Did your son have a good birthday? I know you've been struggling recently so hope you are finding some light in your days. xx
@Emelia8 how are you feeling hon? xx
@Shaz51 @Adge @Snowie @Faith-and-Hope @Eve7 how are you all travelling? xx
Ugh I can't believe we are in lockdown again! An hour before the announcement on Thursday I was planning on taking my mum to her sisters in East Gippsland so I could have a fortnight to myself, but now we have to wait and see. As soon as restrictions are loosened bags are in the car and I'm dumping her there (9 hour drive there and back) and if they come back on all the better cause I won't be able to pick her up! I know we are supposed to love & care for our elderly mothers unconditionally but when they are toxic, manipulative narcissists who are the reason for your childhood trauma it's so hard to see them as vulnerable human beings and not the source of your ongoing struggles.
Big hugs to all xx

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @bipolarbunny @Oaktree @Shaz51 I am feeling a little better - have cut the timber for the floor at the back door and sanded it. Just have to glue it in now, wait for that to dry, give it another light sand then varnish it. I will clean everything up before I glue it in so I am not walking over it to put eveything back in the garage.
@Snowie It has been a horrible few weeks and I know I could not have done more than I have. My plans for the holidays cetainly went out the door after losing Cat - going to take some time still to get used to not having her with me I am grateful for my other two fur babies but I still miss Cat a lot.
@Oaktree I can understand that Hon - been much the same myself - gotta keep going though ๐๐ Life just sucks sometimes hey - but we can do it.
@bipolarbunny It will be good for you to have a break Hon. It is so hard when we are being constantly reminded of past trauma. Your mother might be older but that does not take away from what she has done to you - so I very much hear you and hope you can get a break soon ๐
@Faith-and-Hope I hope you have gotten some rest Hon and settling back in now you are back east. Been thinking of you a lot leaving your family and friends in the west and hope that time with them helps to sustain you until you can go back again. Love and hugs to you, your baby dragons and Nelly ๐๐๐
