Re: Finding my feet once again

Hi @Former-Member

I'm sorry to hear you're not doing too well.  It's so difficult at times.  Sometime when people ask me how I'm doing, I say "i'm okay"... sometimes I hear myself saying it and think about how much of a win it is to be "okay" on some days.  I hope you're having some of those wins at the moment, even if don't seem like big ones.

@MJG017

Hello 👋

It's nice to meet you here

Thank you

I understand , yes most days I say I'm ok too

Or tho within me , I'm crying out

Most of my little wins are in my time out period .

When I go to my quite places I love going .

Mainly me going to find my self again .

And experiencing nature in all its glory .

Seeing things people don't get to see every day  .

I feel free in these places with mindfulness .

These places can range from forest beaches water courses where wild life and nature is productive .

Thank you for reaching out to me

I do appreciate

Happy December

And my best of wishes for you over Christmas

Nice to meet you as well.  I completely relate to the saying "okay" when life just feels... challenging".  @Dreamy and I here have a little rule between us... we don't ask each other how we're going to save us saying "I'm okay" when usually 'okay' is a bit of a stretch.  So instead, we just say something like "I hope you're doing as well as you can"... or something similar.  We figured it gets a bit tiring being constantly asked "how are you".

That's the great thing about nature.. it doesn't judge, and it provides a connection to anyone who wants it.  It's great that you always have that quiet place to go to.  I think so many people underestimate how important it is to have places like that to go to, especially when things are starting to get on top.

Best wishes to you for Christmas as well.  Take care, and keep holding onto those places that help you feel free.

Re: Finding my feet once again

Hello @Former-Member, i can completely relate to saying I'm ok but inside I'm crying out. I'll often avoid the 'how are you' question cos it's not a straightforward one to answer especially when there's so much going on. I'm so glad you find that comfort in nature, I like nature aswell but have alot of anxiety over going out. Hope there's been some good in your day today and we are always here for you ❤️

Like @MJG017 said we have that rule between us cos we both struggle to answer that 'how are you' question. By saying 'hope you're doing as well as you can' or something similar it's then left open to the other to share whatever they feel comfortable with.

Also hello @MJG017☺️.

@MJG017

Thank you

Christmas is just around the corner

My best friend and I may go to one of my quite places over the holidays .

Just to enjoy each other's company .

For us both , it's just a nice thing to go and handout have a laugh , explore and maybe if I'm feeling good 😊

I may have to have a Christmas beverage

I let you know a secret about my self

I love to sing

I have used singing as a bases of keeping my mental health balanced and in check .

Christmas is a beautiful time of the year , I love the heat .

And the fish are biting 🎣

I catch and release most of the time

I'm just waiting on a Barra or mangrove Jack .

I wish you and your family a happy merry beautiful Christmas holiday 😊

@Dreamy @MJG017

Hello 👋

I understand

To me it is a hard question to honestly answer .

I hold honesty so close to my heart , some times it hurts .

The things I hold dear to me belong in a place no one can ever take away from me .

At times I think negativety is contagious

And happiness is definitely contagious 😄

Over all , I think every person that has messaged me is amazing in every way .

For me it's been a honour to have the beautiful company I've received here .

Thank you ☺️

Re: Finding my feet once again

@Former-Member I'm with you there that it's a hard question to answer honestly.

Negativity can be contagious but happiness is more contagious ☺️.

It's such a pleasure having you here and it's lovely to chat to you ❤️
