No they are still very fragile, one is going to the MHU the other refuses to seek help. but both speak and do things daily to endanger their lives.
Oh i will, 3 self care things, i will definatly join you, i will post on their later.
OMG @Former-Member, i am so sorry, it is so hard, life seems to push some of us to the edge, it is just too hard. it is so sad to hear children are wanting to die, it must break your heart that innocent lives are hurting so much. it must be so hard to be a child now, with bullying 24/7 and pressures.
You are not selfish, it must be so hard for you, i know you have been in really dark places, you need to make sure you care for yourself and i am so happy you had a better day today.
hugs

Oh gosh @Former-Member... so sad for the children - I was first suicidal when I was 10 - it is too young to think such dark thoughts - you miss out on being carefree - a child - I hope the children get excellent help & support - early intervention, so they can grow up into healthy adults... You are not selfish for admitting it affected you! Glad today was better though! "Calm" sounds nice!
Thank you for reading my post & your support. I was thinking about making a big minestrone soup during the day (so I don't get too tired & too cold...) Yes, we do have a microwave! I've never had the strength to cut up pumpkin. Also, just easy dinner like baked potatoes in weber. Burritos can be made inside. Chilli con carne type dish looks easy enough to make - not too much time in the cold. We have a rice cooker, which is awesome. I can do it - I used to do all the cooking *fingers crossed* He will have to stay overnight in hospital - I will have to stay with my mum who can be very stressful to communicate with. Yes, the part needs to come, because it isnt sold anywhere - ony online - need running water as I can't lift a 50kg camping water drum!
Sorry to hear you are struggling @Jacques - I have helped friends & people when they have been suicidal/attempted - it is hard... you are a kind soul *hug*
Namaste,
A

Just got home from the vets.
I had a PDoc appointment yesterday. I've been struggling a bit lately with the rollercoaster of emotions. She'd decided one of my meds is too high, and that may be causing the problems.
So I'm at the vet, and my friend is crying And I am hurting so much, but there's no tears. And a second later I feel nothing. I still feel nothing. I feel like I should cry. I should be hurting.
I hate this.

Glad you've come back. I think you'll feel things in your own time. I tend to feel numb a lot... but then feel the pain of things later.. though i sometimes then find it hard to work out exactly what im feeling for what!! Aghhh... but you also can't force things i've found. Treat yourself gently and kindly, as i'm sure you are to your friend. I agree it sucks to not just be able to 'feel' things 'normally'..
@Former-Member im sorry that you felt like that at such a young age. It was mid teens for me when i made my first attempt... sadly nothing seems to be better in the systems that are supposed to support kids these days as neither of the children that are so distressed in my class are recieving adequate or appropriately qualified support. my young man who seriously self harmed only gets one appointment every 10 - 12 weeks with the regional group that supports children suffering from mental health and because he is a child in the foster system he has no other options (i.e. families SA and/or carers arent going to pay for private psychology) and it does just break my heart to see these kids going through these issues.
I'm glad that you have some great ideas for cooking! i've done such simple stuff lately i feel a bit guilty. i've just had no energy for cooking at all. but bought a roast for tomorrow to cook and do a nice meal. My daugther is excited... my son says he'd rather starve lol! oh well can't please em all!

Some guy slinks in, some recognise him, some think "who is that guy?". He is wearing his fav shirt ever that a good friend gave him (even if she is a manly supporter) ... he puts down the cheese platter and says ... HI EVERYONE!

Never mind. Here come the tears. At least while there are tears I feel like I am handling the pain...
@Former-Member that's terrible! Keep yourself safe. Loads of love.
