Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I'm so sorry @Faith-and-Hope. I'm crashing and shouldn't have dragged you in. I hope you have a good night. I'm pleased for you that you have all your family there💜💐

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Former-Member, stressing about it not only makes it harder but could make it happen (self fulfilling prophecy), try not to get ahead of yourself. Live in the moment, one day at a time. Know your own values / boundaries & deal-breakers. Choose your battles carefully. Respond, don't react (calm down first). They're big kids now, they can do their own washing etc. You'll be fine. 💗

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Thanks @Former-Member for the support. I've been trying so hard this week to do all the right things. Now it's eating me alive. Anyway I can't do crisis on here again. I'm  a ******* joke. 😔

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi everyone, Im bringing a yummy roast chicken with lots of vegies such as roast potatoes and a delicious cheesecake. My topic of conversation dealing with MI issues affecting finding a romantic partner. My social phobia makes me fearful of meeting men.

Friday Night Feast

Tonight, I am having curried mince with assorted vegetables, some home made chutney, a small glass of

ginger wine, and for dessert, some bread and butter pudding with a dollop of cream and a sprinkling of

almond meal on top. It's cold weather, so need something spicy and a warm dessert - yum!  Enjoy Friday

Night Feast, forum members and may the weekend be a good one, too. Cheers from Bimby2

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

My virtual plate contains nothing anymore.

My topic is how do you handle anger? It's been getting a little out of hand here lately.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi everyone
I'm sick of my food atm. All I've had lately is chicken pot carrots and broccoli. The first 3 nights that's all I had. I miss my pasta. I complained to the nurse who will pass on the complaint. Another patient complained as well. Hope everyone is enjoying their dinner.

Some great ideas for discussion tonight:

1.) @Former-Member has asked how to handle anger. I recall @Former-Member mentioning that she felt angry a while back (sorry if it wasn't you LJ!).

2.) and @Bridgetjones has asked how people manage an MI in a relationship? @Former-Member and @MoonGal are inrelationship maybe they have some thoughts to share.

Anyone else around tonight?

@Former-Member @Jacques @Former-Member @Former-Member @Angels333 @Mazarita @Faith-and-Hope @Ali585 @Appleblossom @Crazy_Bug_Lady and anyone else who I haven't mentioned. Please feel free to bring along/invite anyone to dinner!

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Former-Member I've noticed that when I'm angry it's usually a build of stress and worry. Anger, I've heard is a secondary emotion, meaning that it often arises when other stuff, other emotions are not resolved. There's usally someting more than anger. Is this something that you can relate to?

@Bridgetjones may I ask if you are currently in a relationship or wanting to pursue one?
