Re: Women's health (TW)

@outlander

Oh hun, that is not ok

Try these guys

https://endometriosisaustralia.org/our-work/specialist-clinics/

They're government funded

Re: Women's health (TW)

thank you ill have a look. i might go up to urgent care tomorrow if it doesnt improve by tomorrow @avant-garde

its hard to tell what it is as i not long had endo surgery and they said i had it through bowel bladder and kidney which is where the pain are as well as the normal areas

Re: Women's health (TW)

@outlander

How long ago did you have the surgery?

Do you have any follow up appointments with the surgeon?

💜

Re: Women's health (TW)

i had the surgery 3 months ago @avant-garde
i had 2 follow up appointments with the surgeon but i havent seen her since

Re: Women's health (TW)

@outlander

It may be worth giving their department a call to see if they've officially discharged you from the service and if not to find out if they can get you an appointment

Sorry I can't help more

Re: Women's health (TW)

my gynacologist was my surgeon so i can see her whenever @avant-garde she wont discharge me from service.
its just costly but might speak to them about it since if its some sort of infection again i dont want it to wait to long so doesnt get worse

Re: Women's health (TW)

Oh no @outlander ,

Sounds so painful. I've been to urgent care before. I found that super helpful and quick.. but it doesn't help long term I guess.

I'm glad @avant-garde was able to link you to the endo service.

We didn't choose to have these issues. It seems so unfair you can't get support because of finances.

We are missing you and hope you get the support you need.

Re: Women's health (TW)

thank you @tyme
i checked out the endo resource and even those clinics are minimum an hour from me
i did go to urgent care however and have a kidney infection thats flared up my neuropathic pain through my stomach and pelvis. have started antibitoics for now but have to see both my specialists asap

Re: Women's health (TW)

Your poor poor thing @outlander ! I'm so so sorry! The pain must be excruciating. I hope the antibiotics kick in soon and you get some relief!

Hugs to you @outlander . So does this mean you are taking some time off work so you can recovery?

Re: Women's health (TW)
