Ooh sewing kits sound like a good idea @Snowie
I mainly knit for myself, but am working on a few knits to give as Christmas presents. I find I really need to be selective about who I knit something for and make sure it's something they'd really like, otherwise I'm just spending hours and hours making something that might just live in the back of someone's wardrobe.

Giving them away for christmas sounds nice @Ru-bee Homemade presents are really special. So much thought and time have been put into it. I can understand wanting to give them to people who will actually use them and not something that is just thrown into the back of a closet.
I have managed to do some online shopping today for xmas. Ahhh so much nicer not having to go to shops!

Just stopping by to say hello @Snowie @Ru-bee Drove home from my Dad’s house today. It’s a long way. Then had to go pick up my cat from S1’s place. Early to bed tonight I think. Takes me a while to get to sleep though.
Good on you for the online Christmas shopping @Snowie. Great self-care move 💖
G’night 💕💕

Hi @Faith-and-Hope I hope you got a good nights sleep last night. Wishing you a good day today.
@Ru-bee Never did thank you for your company yesterday. It really did help.

I took S to school in pj's 🤦♀️
Still in my pj's on the couch under my weighted banket @Ru-bee. Not much sleep last night equals no motivation today.
Spent almost an hour on the phone to Telstra. Most of it was on hold. Had to organise something for mum to be sent out. She wasn't happy that she had to wait for it. Tried to explain that I can't pick it up but that didn't go down well.
How are you today?

I'm having a low motivation too @Snowie. Still getting things done, like you, but not feeling too energetic. Maybe I need another coffee.
Ugh calling up a phone company sounds like no fun at all. They all have so many automated menus now, it gets so hard to talk to an actual person sometimes. I'm glad that you were able to get it sorted though

It's hard to get things done with low motivation @Ru-bee
I've managed to make myself a coffee but that's as far as it got. I know I should get up, do things, have a shower, eat, but I just can't be bothered. At least under my weighted blanket I feel safe.
Another coffee does sound like a good idea.
It is hard to talk to an actual person. And even then, the person you are talking to doesn't have the knowledge.

I only just got the motivation to make myself another coffee @Snowie 😅
But as I was making it I was thinking about this technique I've been using when I really can't be bothered doing my chores or those boring self-care tasks like washing my face or brushing my teeth when i'm feeling way too tired: I set a timer for a few minutes and just see how much I can get done in that time. I'm always surprised how much I can do in just a few minutes, and then after the timer goes off I can stop.
But, some days we do just need to feel safe, and finding that space that feels safe is an achievement in itself. I'm glad that you've got your safe space

I did make a coffee too @Ru-bee!
Also have enough cooked meals in the freezer that the family can get their own dinner. So glad I make extras for nights like this.
Setting a timer is a good idea. Might try it tomorrow for a shower.
I love my weighted blanket. One of the best things I ever brought.
