Re: Tw Not Coping

What did you study @tyme ?

Re: Tw Not Coping

I have studied a range of health sciences, education, chiropractics, Med/law @Birdofparadise8  - but this was at a range of studies... not just Swinburne.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Ah okay cool you doing much @tyme

Re: Tw Not Coping

I'm on the Guided Service tonight @Birdofparadise8 - hence there's a few pauses between my posts - sorry in advance!

Re: Tw Not Coping

Ah okay cool all good @tyme

What are you doing for the weekend then?

Re: Tw Not Coping

I'll be in the pool no doubt @Birdofparadise8 . It will be 41 degrees!

That's what I plan to do... and chill!

Oh, I'll be on the forums at some too.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Yeah nice it’s going to be 31 I think here so that hot enough for me hahaha @tyme

Nice we can have a bit of a chat then too. I hope my mood doesn’t spiral though after getting the good news. Do you know of any way I can prevent it from happening.

Re: Tw Not Coping

I don't think it is about 'preventing' it @Birdofparadise8 - it is about expecting that it will happen and to know it is okay if it will happen.

The hardest part is when things get bad, we think we have done something wrong, but really, it is part of mental health in general.

It's okay not to be okay.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Yeah I get that but I’m never okay. I definitely feel as though I’ve done something wrong when I start to feel sad or flat @tyme

Do you think my mental health could get worse with me moving like having so many changes in such a short period of time. I am worried that it might make things worse.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Moving will probably have its 'honeymoon' phase @Birdofparadise8 . This period will be rosy and all good at first, but then you will settle and this is when the same issues will arise.

I found this happened to me. It was good for the first few months, but reality set in. However, being alone, I DID reach out for support. I didn't have people on my back asking where I was going or what I was doing.

So some how I don't think it is too much for you. You are more resilient that you think.
